Computer flash question

[outnumbered]

Several months ago I posted my computer throwing a P1494 code. Well after several resets and a new gas cap, the code continues to return. So it appears that there is a leak somewhere. However, I replaced my DC Performance computer with the stock computer, and I assumed that after a period of time the "Check Engine Light" would reappear just as soon as the code was detected, but it hasn't.

I noticed that my stock computer has had several updates from the dealer. Is it possible that one of those updates was a fix for the code, and that I don't actually have a leak?

sounds like the leak detector pump issue i had on my neon, replaced it for ~$40.00..... on our trucks, it's located in the driveshaft area....
