They are the 2008 Champions of the National Basketball League.. (NBA).

Winning in 6 games (4-2)............. over the Los Angeles Lakers.

It wasn't even close............

The Celtics are truly and without question, the best team in the NBA....

Their defensive presence was absolutely smothering and they shot the bloody lights out.....

End of story......:congrats:

I should clarify that i dont really root for any team, i feel that the sport is set up from the get go....just my opinion...well, i guess its proven, but thats another issue.

Lets give it up for the rigged BA

Ive always had a feeling that (during the playoffs) the NBA was paying off the referees to extend the number of games played... for the sake of selling air time and greater revenues.....

The calls just don't seem right....

Good call....

this year it was just so predictable. id say with about 6 teams left, i called a lakers/ celtics championship. the celts were playing too good and how great would it be to go back to the days of yesteryear and have the lakers vs celtics old time rivalry....

also, the NBA compared to other sports are not fairing to well when it comes to crowd turnout and tv ratings, so they are going to have to do something to get the crowd excited about it.

Pierce should get it.....

But Ray Allen is awesome and will probably get it because he's been around so long....

Totally agree. A sweep leaves too much money on the table!!!

Celtics just gave LA an old school beating!! 2 minutes into the second half LA looked like they were gassed.

I dont watch the NBA at all, but tuned in for this years finals since I got a neighbor whom is a Laker nut.

Congrats to all you Boston fans!

For the most part I don't watch any of the "Stick and Ball" professional sports.

Gave it up during the Michael Jordan era. That SOB got so many foul calls to his benefit it made me sick to watch it any longer.
