I am looking at ordering up a set if these and have a question on these if someone could help. TireRack lists these as Summer Tires but poking around the Web and reading some reviews I see them listed as all seasons, some places, and some have had no problem in the snow with them.

I am looking for a performance oriented all season tire. I do not want the Pirellis again though. Just want to know if anyone that has the Conti's has driven in snowy conditions with them. It is my understanding these tires are pretty grippy and good in the rain. For $163 a piece at TireRack, looks like a pretty good deal.

Jut looking for some input, thanks...

Link to tire I am looking at:

I have them. Got them locally at Mavis Tire for 165 installed. They ride better than Pirellis
Never had then in the snow though. This thing doesn't even have traction on dry ground.

i have the UHP Grabbers from Conti.....I love them. This tire appears to be a little more geared towards all weather. The Grabbers really work well.

Thanks. My wife just had a shit fit when I told her the truck needed tires. She thinks I am just making an excuse to buy something for the truck. To her, I am to blame for the Pirelli's wearing out after 13,500 miles (went to track once with it and then had to rotate the tires, and did one small burnout another time, honest). They have some tread left but they will definitely be done at the end of the summer.

I should have just kept my mouth shut, ugghhhhh!!!!

I have 18000 miles on the red truck and they are not quite 50% worn. I wenrt to the track once and have done more than 1 burn out.

You probably drive more aggressivley than I do.................;)

conti's are good tires, drivng in the snow i dunno man even i might not drive my truck in the snow, atleast not without chains

I would say I probably drive a little aggressive and am not the easiest on tires. That is what the wife attributed the wear to, ME.

As for the snow, honestly, they can not be any worse than the Pirellis were. I'll make the wife Happy and wait for the cords to stick out the sides and then I think I will go for the Conti's.
