Simple extrme low risk if any risk at all ... treasurydirect . Gov is where to buy them and other things ... a good safe haven for some dollars .. they have specific time frame to own to avoid small penalties if you sell early .. they also pay based on inflation and get adjusted every 6 months up or down plus I believe they still have a 1% fixed rate.... its limited to how much you can buy which I think is 10k ... i also think you can buy one starting at 25$ , 50$ , 100$ and such .. its been a long time since Ive bought .. I just sit on what I have ,, they mature in 30 years .
 
I find it very useful to have some investments like I bonds and consider those as a ACE IN THE HOLE just incase ...

Maturity date is when the mature to the point that they no longer payout .. thats all ..
 
Go to the treasury site and sign up .. the info is on there about what they sell ,,, doesnt cost anything to sign up... of you decide to buy.. you just use your checking account and they debit it ..

Yes they do ,,, the problem is their games mess with the average investors making it a reason for the SEC to do their job .. The SEC was created to make the markets fair for big and small investors .. Where is DOGE when you need them ,,, Shut the SEC down and make them do their mandated jobs..
