Value ? Post split compared to pre split ? (Doesn’t change , that is correct !) If I’m following what you mean in the comment. Not until the price changes up or down which immediately will happen post split .. if your looking to add at the lower price post split you need it to go down and if you don’t you want it to run like a scalded bandit in heat hahaha ! Seriously though if your in for a longer term it is preferable that the rise in the price is slower and steady .. basically a chart movement of around 45 degrees over time ( nothing is guaranteed but better odds long term ) remember parabolic pops pretty much take hard drops rather quickly !
Divs are for building an income over the long term so even if it’s red you still get something in return while you sit on it .
As Buffet says buy when people panic !
I’m still somewhat confused on you all around plan for investing . I will,say it can be a learning curve to get your plan where you want it to be . Live and learn situation . Hard knocks happen ! Try to minimize the knocks with knowledge and solid strategies ! Even so mess ups and bad situations can happen which are beyond your control .. don’t get greedy , don’t chase and protect will help avoid the stress .. I’m high strung and yes I talk to my computer and curse out everyone at times when things just appear NOT RIGHT hahaha . That’s why I stress the large cap solid companies and dividends. I’m always looking to maximize every possible investment that my investment plan can possibly have and minimize the risks while making higher amount dividends on stocks and EFT’s .. just like using high interest bank accounts . Diversify is a huge key benefit to investing . Never put all your apples in one basket ! When buying ETF’s always check and see what companies are in them it’s easy to become overloaded with say Tech , retail , financial etc. categories with them . Always check the top 10 companies in the fund to check the diversity in your portfolio. ETFs Are safer than all stocks so to say . Less risk usually are less gains .,More of a conservative investment plan . Ive Diversified massively, but still the major portion of my portfolio are in stocks , then ETF’s and a few mutuals and bonds . Being ai have such a high concentration in stocks ( larger holdings in large cap solid companies , diversified it helps maximize gains but still IMO is a conservative portfolio and plan .

I have a feeling a lot of the pop today is already built in , I think it will go up more , how much , no idea with these pumper meme stocks .. it may be a couple share buy and flip to see might be a option for extra disposable cash . It’s moved up in price a little high for me, chasing it is dangerous IMO . But for a small amount it might be some dollars profit. My bet is it will move up going into the news speculation of the video . Probably moving up in PreM l. Just me speculating hahaha ! But if it does start moving PreM it becomes a chaser and the price will be higher maybe much higher before a buy can be made .. only expendable cash should be used or only try to by a few shares for a flip IMO! Remember GME is not nvidia, Google , Microsoft,Amazon or apple it’s a company that was basically bankrupt and going out of business a few years ago.. ask yourself what changed !
 
Very sound plan! I'm definitely still figuring it all out! You are very diversified as well! The amount of things you juggle takes experience that's what time and practice does. You think like uncle Warren!! :cool:

Well GME AND THE MEME craze is under the who knows WTH just happen watch . Looks like GME earnings were a big MISS .. Pre Market it to is taking a big hit ..now it’s back to the guess on what will happen on the roaring kitty live stream . MANIPULATION and the timing of event is just obviously proof of it !
