I have Read allot of articles about E85, and the posses of converting your gasoline engine to have the ability to use it.

From what i can tell from this website and others, The perks are as follows

http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=73061
http://e85vehicles.com/converting-e85.htm

1. Alcohol is a Cooler Burning Fuel
2. E85 is equal to 110 Octane
3. an in some places is cheaper.

Because our trucks already have Massive injectors, And use Fully Synthetic Oil already, it seems to me that we have a predisposition to convert.... People make it sound like its really not a big deal???

Am i missing out on something, Or is this a good idea???

Yep!!! To get the same power you gotta crank that compression ratio up! Than you will get even worse mileage, if you worry about your carbon Bigfoot print, do it, otherwise, don't.

Well if thats the case than Screw That.....
I was just under the Impression that The increased Octane Rating,

Might have a chance in boosting HP

Nevermind then

right now it cost more to produce e85 would be a bad move. truck will burn more too.

More octane = less power !!!!!

I dont think that e85 is the soultion to our problems in this country....

Volvo has E85 cars(bi-fuel)
They produce more HP on E85 then on normal gas.
Only less miles/gallon.
