Has anyone accomplished this? I realize LED bulbs draw less, the computer thinks there is a lamp out which creates a fast turn flash and unbalanced voltage in the system. Is there a proven fix for our trucks and how?

I've thought about doing this too. However, there are MANY different companies that offer LED tail lights. They're all over ebay.

I think as long as you had them wired correctly with the proper resistors there wouldn't be a problem if you decided to do it yourself.

Good luck!

Yea, time to break out the ohm meter. Based on what I see so far I may need a resistor for each bulb. I know how to make it work with a 5 pin flasher but that involves going under the dash = big headache. The LEDs that autolumination.com has are so cool though.

why dont you buy the ones stinker sells i have them

Thanks. I contacted Stinker and he asked me to pm FSTJACK about a possible LED bulb solution. If the bulbs become to much of a pain, I will just order entire LED tail light assemblies.
