It wasn't all Huckabee's fault but he did have a hand in it. Buy commuting his sentence to 47 years, it made him eligible for parole. But it was ultimately in the parole boards hands as to whether he made it back out on the streets. According to Ark. law. Once the person has served 1/4 of their sentence they become eligible for parole. Maybe that's why the judge and jury handed down the 108 in the first place.
