Mopar showed an RT and SRT8 version of the Ram at SEMA if I remember correctly.

I doubt Chrysler would put a Viper powerplant in a RAM any time soon; if at all. Judging by the way they were/are so quick to deny warranty claims on these 10's, I'm under the impression they regret producing them in the first place. :dontknow: That's just me though... That's just me.
Would be foolish to repeat a failure....Chrysler sold less than 1K 10s in 2006.....they might do an SRT8 version though since it would be much easier having a V-8 than modifying the truck for a V10...the 6.1 Hemi is just a modified version of the 5.7 Hemi that is already in the truck.......
But I would bet the whole SRT line days are numbered...upcoming mileage minimums are going to make mfgs reluctant to produce large displacement engines.........

my guess is if dodge makes an srt8 ram it aint gonna be the 6.1 way to close to the 5.7 im thinking the 6.4 hemi that is rummored to be goinng in the 2011 srt8 jeeps just $.02 fom a hemi owner
well if that happens then that would be cool cuz that will be right around the time i will want another truck lol wat is 6.4 cu in wise ex 426?

They need to add some snake like contours to the 06 SRT-10 body style. Look at the body lines on this pic. I can see the snake features when I look at it. Wish one of those art guys could photo shop some snake features on an 06 SRT-10. That Super Snake Hood is a good start!

If they put a 6.4 in the jeep. Then I might have to get one. What would the 0-60 be? I'm thinking in the 4.0 range?
i could definitely see my self picking up another ram even if it only had a 6.1l but if they slap a 6.4l in a ram and then slap on that fuel management cylinder cut off system then you wouldn't be able to pay me to buy it cuz it would sound amazing until you were cruising down the highway in a rice burner sounding ram
