Anyone know the thread size of the bolt for the dampner on end of crankshaft ,my dampner came off and bolt kind of boogered up first part of threads ,i want to buy a tap to clean it up before i pin it .

He forgets too. I think it is the same bolt used for the magnum 360 motor too. If you don't have the tool to figure out the thread maybe bring the bolt to a place like fastenal or another good hardware store they should have the gauge to tell you what it is.

what size is the head????

This brings me to my next question ,3/4 fine is the same as 3/4 npt tap ,,would this work on these threads ??

maybe at the end of the pipe tap, maybe

i would think there is too much taper on the pipe tap. if anything is open today, i would go get a thread chaser or tap to clean all the threads:rock:
