I saw that run when I was in Maxton in May.

I went back to Maxton in October, after Dave was killed in September...

It happened in the shutdown area after the traps, and the word we were given at the rider's briefing was (1) it was still under investigation and (2) it was possibly a medical related issue.

His young son Josh (20) was there at the event when it happened.

I had no idea what a legend this guy was until the word got out; he really had it together...
