I know some of the trucks are having a crosswind issue with the door seals at high wind speeds. Legally that would be on the interstate with high winds, which has happened to me. Or other wise known to be traveling around 120+:D

Any way I had the autobody tweak the doors in a little bit to help. Apparently some of the early 05's the door is not as sturdy as later in the model year. My proof of this is my other 05 the door seal is super tight. I tried to pry it open a little bit from the top and was real stiff. Then I went to the srt and there was a lot more give.

Every now and then I get a little rush of air in the CTD, no where near as bad as the srt. I have yet to see if it fixed the srt.

Just thought I would throw this out to anybody that has tried this or wanting some type of soultion to the crosswind noise.

had the door seal TSB done to mine & seemed to help alot

When I first got the truck I had the door seals changed. So I don't have much of a reference for that. But I think the main reason for the change in seals is to keep the seal intact more than for the cross wind noise.

i agree

Wyo but it's always blowing in Wyoming!

I hear the wind always blows becuse Nebraska sucks so bad.:D :D :p ;)

The wind can suck here most of the time. I am in a little valley and most of the wind just goes right over us. Now go about 20 miles out of town and it a totally different story.
