Sounds alot like my plan, lol. Big ass cam, roller valve train and ported heads. :rock:
 
actually the only gains that can be seen on a gen3 are from friction reduction. the stock gen 3 rockers usually spec out at 1.73. put in a better push rods and more gains can be seen from reduced valve train flex and distortion in the geometry
the best rockers for quality and reliability, and we use them in every engine build, is a Jessel. pricey, but so is an engine that ingests a roller needle that failed. with any of them spacers are required.
 
i though i saw some afermarket valve covers somewhere that you could use with the rocker arms?
 
What is the stock length of our push rods? 7.5"?
