Yeah, I've been gone for a while. Really busy with life and my truck is dead at the moment. But anyway, wanted to show the door panel since I promised to a long time ago.
I've only got one pic but this is the general idea for the front door panels. Looks good at a distance but the audio people who did the work on my truck really screwed me over big time. Scratches all over the place, the panels aren't even screwed to the doors, weather stripping ripped, put over 150 miles on my truck w/o permission, paint cracking, general shoddy work. etc etc etc

but if I ever have time to or have it fixed right, it'll still be something along these lines. I took this pic back in august when I got the truck back, or thats when it's dated anyway.
By the way, anyone know any good lawyers in Houston? I'm probably going to have to take these guys to court to settle this. I'm not going to knock them too much until I know how the actual owner is going to deal with the situation (The manager wont give me his number so I figure I'll have to go through the city or something)

Oh and why is my truck dead? Ha, I'm glad you asked. The people responsible for the audio work wired just about EVERYTHING aftermarket DIRECTLY off the ignition wire (the one in the steering column) ... without a relay. And there were exposed wires under there too. So my truck nearly burned to the ground. Stuff started smoking really bad inside and luckily a fuse blew. Had it towed a local dodge dealership and the tech said I was lucky it hadn't burned completely up, and a lot sooner. He disconnected all the after market stuff, rendering me without windows, radio, any sound for that matter, etc. And something has been draining my battery dead for a while so I can't really even drive it anymore. Alt is fine, just some more bogus wiring probably draining it. I dont know enough electrical stuff to fix it myself so I'm trying to find someone here in TN, which is where I'm living these days.

Fun stuff...

Sorry to hear about your headaches with it bro the panels look pretty good ...good luck getting everything resolved!

Thanks, I'll look into that. For the moment though, I need someone local to fix the electrical so I can at least DRIVE my truck. I'll probably go look for someone tomorrow.

just goes to show you that there are idiots out there that should not be breathing.

Who did the work in Houston? It's really tough to trust audio dealers when you see the actual guys who work in the shop. 360 mobile sound in houston couldn't get my alarm installed without putting a scratch in the rear door. I always do my own sound systems but let a so called pro do the alarms, yeah right!

Sorry about your truck.:( That really sux!

I would definitely be talking to the law about that crap!!!

Good luck!!
