Custom Dyno Tuning

Aside from my 10, i have a Silverado SS that i use for my daily driver. Recently, i had a converter that was gobbed off and removed them. I didn't want to stare at an engine light so i took it to "tuned by bluecat" and he gave me a custom tune for my truck through software with a laptop-turning the 02's off in the process. I'm still trying to figure out why nobody can do this for our 10's. Is it the way our computers are coded, a software issue, or just the general lack of resources? I have called every reputable shop in TN, VA, & KY that i could find and nobody can tell me who will tune a viper/vipertruck...

So gettin these trucks tuned doesnt require me to first buy a handheld tuner if i can locate a shop that has the software-is that right? I would rather find someone local that could do a dyno/street tune but the chances of that are looking pretty slim-im probably 15hours away from torrie's shop.

find a local dyno and work with Torrie. He does off site tuning all the time. If you would rather pay (or get a group and split costs) he can come to you.
I doubt you will find anyone local that will do the tune as well as some of the guys here have used.
Shoot him an email. He can explain everything.
It will require a tuner. I wouldn't trust just anyone to do a tune on these trucks. To easy to mess up and cost you $10k to rebuild.

Just CIA at the moment, catless mids and a muffler swap before spring. Im just taking baby steps as funds allow, but ive tossed around the idea of a wet shot for a while but cant seem the pull the trigger.

I aggrivated the piss out of the guy that did my silverado and he wont touch em.

I wouldn't want someone that has never owned or tuned a viper (or Ram SRT10) before touching mine. Something tells me your tuner is thinking the same thing.

Thats true, probably best that he doesn't. Looks like im going to have to go with a hh tuner and if i do that, it will definitely be torrie-nothing but good feedback on here for him, just wished his shop was closer to me..

Chris Jensen is one of the top viper tuners around!! Very reputable!! He has tuned mine when other tuners couldn't get it tuned properly!! His email is on my signature and Chris will travel, I brought him up to Edmonton Alberta last summer and Oldcolt had him up to Calgary the summer before, excellent guy to deal with
