custom exhaust

Would a 3in custom exhaust with a maganflow muffler be just as good as the magnaflow exhaust kit? I can get the custom exhaust done by a good buddy i know for about 250 cheaper than the kit. If the kit is better for perfomance wise ill go with it. Just need a little input

Well the Magnaflow cat-back is 3" as well, so as long as you get mandrel bends, I don't see why not.

Other thing is the Muffler. The kit uses a muffler with a built-in crossover. You could either use that type of muffler or use Two mufflers and put your crossover in the piping.
