custom grille?

[SRT10 Ram]

Im new to the viper truck world, and im looking at upgrading the front grille to match the lower valance and the hood scoop. What would your opinions be on picking up some expanded metal mesh and powder coating it black and installing it where the factory grille is located now ( not a bolt over ) it seems it could be a better looking match than whats on the market for our trucks , has anyone tried this yet

i believe you can do it all in honeycomb and a lot of guys have went this route contact dragon @ avondale he is a vendor here...you will find him in the vendor section!!!!...im sure some people will post up pics here

i forgot the name of the grill itself, but i think the black chrome grills the are slitts almost like what they do on the 05 ford diesel's look great on this truck
