Several months ago somebody on our forum had a sheet metal custom intake made. He had pics and it looked great. Has anyone heard anymore about it?
Did he install it? Was it tunable? I hope this is in the correct thread. Sorry if not.

Fstjack has had one made , one off custom with two throttle bodies,
it def wasnt made for a stocker.

Ram from Hell had one made, I think it was goin the paxton route, and some where in the area of $4500? I think:dontknow:

Use the search above and type in Hogan Manifold. It'll bring up the post.

Hogan makes killer manifolds. My best buds 347 strocker make 800+ NA hp at the flywheel with a hogan and 2 BG golds.

I saw the post but have heard nothing about how it turned out. How well did it actually turn out?
Was it easy to tune?
I had no idea that Jack's truck was so modified. His is in a whole differant level than most.
This is why I need to stop coming to this Forum ...crap....more stuff for my wish list. This is habit forming...almost a drug!!!

Mine should be wrapping up soon, now that I have the rest of the gear from Boomer. Just waiting on a custom harness for the AEM engine management. Check it out after polishing:

Hogans makes great stuff. Just sent one of their BBC 14-71 blower manifolds back to them to be fitted with EFI injectors and fuel rails.

Wow!!! That's a work of art! Are you going to be able to post before and after dyno results or are you doing so much that it would'nt be accurate?
Your paxton/Fjo set up is what I run.
If it runs half as good as it looks it will be crazy.

No real before/after would be possible. With all of the other mods, it's WAY too different for a meaningful comparison.

BTW, my primary reason for doing the Hogans was for better air distribution. The GENIII intake is notorious for leaning out the front cylinders, especially under boost (something about plenum volume, if I remember correctly). Notice that the GENIV has gone back to dual TBs and plenums like the GENII.

It does look nice. Thanks for the props! Between myself and Dale (Tinygiants), we ought to have most of the assembly done by New Years. Not bad, considering I broke the engine October of 2005.:p

This is great news. I am Jonesing for a ride in a real truck. So I know you have got to be in a bad way.

Walt I think your manifold is beautiful. I would like to see more pics/info on it.
I guess I should call Underground and see what one of those would cost.

For those who asked here is a link to my Hogan manifold thread.
It is way too big for anything but a fully fuilt motor, big inches, big heads, big cam (over .800 lift), big boost, trans brake, high stall, lots of suspension and tire (33x15x15 Hoosier).
This manifold would not even work on a stock or mildly modded motor.

Thanks Jack and yes I would call Kevin and talk to him he can give you all the information......and I believe he is putting one on a race car setup he is currently doing.

Walt
