After blowing my third magnaflow muffler, I decided to go a different route. Im having SpinTech custom build me a Polished Stainless steel muffler to my specs. There was nothing wrong with the magnaflow pipes, so im using those and welding the spintech in place of the can.

Im having them modify a version of the Pro Shoot-Out Race muffler, with a larger chamber for a louder and more deep sound, and the inlet/outlet pipes will the spaced to match my current setup.

When i get in a better situation, i will be doing a side exhaust setup with this muffler

the Spin Tech's are very impressive.

only ones i've heard are the ones on Cody's Dakota. SWEET:rock::rock:

I see you said muffler. Are they making it dual in/out for you? I've been considering getting some spin techs for awhile. This might have made my decision for me.

Yeah they are making a single 2 in 2 out 16 gauge polished stainless muffler to fit in place of the magnaflow. It's a modified version of the loudest and deepest muffler they have. The magnaflow is 22 gauge.

Whats different about a Spintech Jeff? Sounds kewl that they will custom build you a muffler!

It's a much thicker stainless plate, so it wont rust. It's similar to a flowmaster, however instead of the delta baffles it has concentric spirals. It flows more than a straight through perforated core magnaflow, so less restriction... And the baffles are designed, placed, and tuned to be as deep as possible. You pick the DB level you want, the inlet/outlet diameteR and configuration you want, and they adjust the baffles to suit your needs.I will never have to worry about rust or holes, and the sound will be completely different than any other 10 out there.

So far the customer service hasn't been what I've expected. I'm working nights so the only way I can get my questions answered is by email. I'll put a couple questions in my email, and I get a short reply that covers only one question, the reply emails are written without greeting or punctuation like a teenage text message, and feels rushed like they can't be bothered to write it.

I did ask him about a 2 in 2 out, or 2 separate muffler for performance and sound and he said on a dyno its a wash. So Im going to save the coin and buy a single can.
