I have decided to add cutouts to my truck. Any suggestions as to what brand and type. :dontknow: thanks in advance.

No, but awesome idea!

Had a manufacture tell me to put them right in front of the mufflers and I would get a deeper sound than right behind the headers. :dontknow:
I want them to open when passing some gal texting on the highway and slowing traffic. :D Also would be fun when the kids in the stangs come up and rev their theirs to show compare. :D

I had QTP on my hemi and it worked great. You can get a complete dual kit from summit I think.

It could, but doing them prior to the muffler lets some go through muffler so it usually sounds ok.....on v8s ,lol. I think it may sound good. One way to find out:burnout:

How many pain pills have you eaten today? If you open a cut out before the muffler then it's straight pipe, nothing going thru the muffler

Nah man its a Y pipe with cutout on one side and muffler on other. Some does go straight into muffler. Maybe not half but a fair amount ;)

Im running a qtp single electricon mine right where the pipes come together. I love it. Some people dont lsike it because they are expecting a v8 sound. But screw them lol

Heres a few pics and a short video of how it sounds.

Yea man if you hit the right rpm while cruising, it makes an unbelievably low, loud rumble. You can hear it the video after I turn back around. Ive gotten pretty good at riding in the "sweet spot". Other RPM ranges it sounds almost like a diesel truck.
