I am going through the same thing here. It costs 114 to fix the scratches and 150 to powder coat. That equals$264 USD. New ones cost $300!

figure that!

Attached came in response to my inquiry last week:

Roy,
I am sorry we are your only source at this time.
I have attached a price list with instructions for sending in your wheels.
I quote 1-2 weeks for coating. We will have to send your wheels out for
stripping and work. This is included in the price. The company that I send
them out to specializes in re-manufacturing OEM wheels and know how to do the
job right.
The cost is $185.00 each plus S&H. There is a $5.00 handling charge for each
box to cover packaging and labor.
I use UPS. When you package it go to the UPS store and buy 24" square boxes,
one for each. When you package them add crumpled up paper in the bottom and
top. Fill in the sides with cut up cardboard.
When you are done, shake the box hard, you should feel no movement at all.
One last thing, if you don't feel comfortable dropping the box from 3 or 4
feet off the ground then you need to repackage them.
As a final note, if the wheels get a little banged up in shipment we will
probably be able to fix them at no additional charge. That is of course
unless they fold a lip around. We will ensure that they are package properly
on their return trip.
Should you have any question, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks Roy:rock: I will give them a call when they open this morning:D
Ron (Outnumbered) had his wheels Permastarred. They looked fantastic. It's one of those things on my list to do. From what he said, their process fills in the scratches or they take care of any defects before coating. All I know is his wheels were rolling perfection.
