now i've been reading about how slow a 335i twin turbo was,atleast thats what people have said so today one came up on me then took off,traffic was ahead of us so i decided not to follow

i caught upto him when traffic slowed,we made our way through the slower cars then there was the opening dropped into thirdhe got a jump on me,to my surprise i could only pull a 1/2 truck on him through 3rd gear,i hit 4th and walked on him .

have to say i was impressed with car overall.did he have any mods?,i :dontknow:

i was on my 703hp tune so there wasnt any excuse if i would have lost.

if ur in a regular cab dont plan on catching one til 4th and if ur in a qc without mods ur gonna get ur ass handed to ya

yes! but i'm reading up on them right now,for 1300 bucks u can add around 60 hp

FastRedSRT10 (Bryan) has the new Twin Turbo Beemer 3 Series...it is a fast car stock and with a few grand in mods he is way faster than my truck. I believe all he did is a Flash, CAI and and exhaust. The damn thing just flies. 11.9 at 118 IN THE 1/4

11.9? that's faster than an M5/6 <stock anyway> ... I'm hard pressed to believe that a F/I QC couldn't take a 335 from a dig... provided that you don't try to mash the pedal down

Yup! It's a hell of a ride...:vroam: It's amazing what a little boost will do. I should have said that i believe he puts on drag radials for the track. But on the street it GOES.

I was at Famoso about a month ago and saw an automatic 4 door 335I with a chip and drag radials run 12.13 @ 114, and a coupe 335I with 6speed, same chip, air intake and drag radials run 11.70 @ 118. They were amazing. I see stock ones run in the 13.40 to 13.80 range depending on the driver and tires.

well that makes me feel alot better ,lol,my 02 745i was never that fast on the bottom end.

u guys in stock qc's i wouldnt try to race one but hey no one listens to me anyway!
