Now for the next thing. A number of members have mentioned it to you before and you keep choosing to ignore them. Typing in all CAPS on the internet is the same as yelling at people. I for one am getting tired of the yelling. Save the CAPS for when it's needed.

You ever heard of the saying "shit happens!"????When I was typing,I forgot to worry about the caps lock,untill I had already typed about half of the post,then at that point I thought i'm not starting all over! no big deal....
And besides..I dont ever remember attacking you personally,Or your typing! I dont know what I did,or said to piss you off. But I stand by my statements!I am not on here trying to sell yall a load of crap. I know what my truck is capable of,and what it has done...Throw the bs flag all you want! And quote all the "official" DODGE records you want..And believe what you want...As far as I'm concerned,you're beliefs are irrelevent to the facts! Real life is often different from the test tracks...That "record run" was in the average of a running mile....I think. (not sure) But I will say...It takes more than one,or even two miles to get her up to those top speeds!The Guieness book run was taken by averaging three runs of a mile long pass...(to my understanding)( I may have understood that wrong)
I dont know about the 166 in 5th gear? that cant be right...at least not in my truck...maybe its the 4:10 gears? dunno for sure...But 5th tops out in the 150's....And then when I grab 6th,it still pulls! Not as hard,but it still pulls..and I was'nt spraying..
And yes I'm crazy for doing such things...I cant argue that one.. Like yall arent guilty of breaking the speed limit either! Not much difference in 150-160,than 130 -140....Still going to jail,or gonna cause a hell of a wreck at those speeds! And I see tons of "kill" stories on this,and other truck sites,doing just that! So, dont get too self righteous on me!

I know that not all of yall go that fast...Yall bought your trucks to look kool in and cruise.
So why is there this imaginary wall,so to speak,that if you pass...(I'm guessing it is in the 130 range somewhere)all the sudden you are a menace to society? I guess its ok to race as long as you keep it in the 70-130 range!? i know this sounds stupid....we shouldnt be raceing at all! But,like MOST srt owners on here we do anyway! I can go back in the older threads and pull up countless posts of "LIGHTNING" kills,and other kills as well.And ALMOST all of them reached speeds of 100 or more. But i guess if you back outta it before you pass the magical 130 (or so)mark, the other members will give you the "way to go ,good kill" speech. My 2cents....I have been up past that magical mark before...and it is NOT that damn much different! It is still FAST AS HELL,and dangerous as hell if you wreck! You wreck doing a buck or more and its gonna leave a mark! 100, or 140, or 160...its all a blurr at those speeds! and 140 does not feel much different than 160!

Dont get me wrong!,When I say scared...that can mean scared of jail,or the traffic ahead..any number of things! I have gotten scared many times and shut her down! There is such a thing as a healthy fear! Thats kinda lame sounding,though...considering the speeds we are talking about! lol

Okay, now we are talking something different. A TT RC will have the power to pull in 6th gear. Most stock trucks will not.
In 4th gear you are 1 to 1. In 5th it's 1 to .74 (might be .75, I don't remember for sure) and in 6th it's 1 to .5. That's one hell of a top gear. If I remember right your O/D in the automatic is .74 also. For most of us stock bastards 6th is only a cruise at 80 on the freeway gear.

well.all i know is ....if you pull out 5th to at least 5500 rpm's...then shift to
6th...it still pulls...just gotts have PLENTY of highway in front of you to get it up to 160+,at least in my "stock" truck....the twins are a whole different story for sure!

I never forget i was talking to a man one day fixing his computer, and we were talking about cars and what not, seemed like a normal guy with a slight speech impediment. Then he started talking about the car he lost, and i asked him what he was talking about, he looked at me and raised his head. I kid you not from ear to ear was a one line scar. He said i hit a brick wall at a buck 20. He told me he was allmost decapitated on scene. Was pretty crucial.
Then 3 years ago my friend/like a brother, died when he lost controll of his bmw around a curve, went through a gaurd post, went airborne about 20 feet hit a tree and came down the tree. He was dead on impact. To this day man it tears me up inside and i kill him with my bare hands if i could for being so stupid. He left behind alot of people who cared for him and alot of heartache..
I dont know what your situation is but im sure someone cares about you, and would hate to loose you in life.

We all gotta die some time! I just figure when my number is up...I can't hide from it!The only way that i see different is premeditated suicide! My best friend put a bullet through his brain, last year...He left behind a lot of people that cared too...Then I've had friends/relatives that have died in accidents,and just died with no warning,but in good health....Fact is people die....and others are always left behind,mourning,and grieving.....Fact is people die.....But,did they live? Think on life,not Death...Its not how long we are here...but why we are here! I dont want to bring my time to an end any sooner than when the Good Lord wants me to come home....Only because he has me here for a reason...Otherwise...I'm a stranger in a strange land,just passin through....I wont ever DIE,just gonna change neighborhoods! So,why do I speed? Cause I'm A DRUG FREE,STONE COLD SOBER,EX-SMOKER,who has cleaned up ALMOST every other part of my life.AND I'm STILL NOT PERFECT!
