Had to run to the farm this evening, a little fawn got stuck in the fencing:eek:

got it free, but root had to help LOLOL I think they even made friends,

it started hollaring and momma deer was standing just outside the woods watching about 20 yards away,

but got it free, made a new friend, and it ran off to momma into the woods.

a great end to the day:D

My dogs and the deer in my yard play "chase" with each other every day this time of year!
 
LOLOL momma was def good size, tried to get a pic of her, but wasnt quick enough, we got about 10 or so hanging around, kept them fed,

and naturally the neighbors keep wanting to come hunt there, but you know how the ladies of the family is LOLOL

LOLOL it was def fiesty bud LOLOL thats when root jumped outta the truck thru the window came running up and it jsut freakin calmed down:dontknow:

they made smootchie smootchie and I was able to set it over the fencing after that and it and momma took off like flash gordon:burnout:
 
Had one of those run out in front of me the other evening. Almost had to do one of those "Hit a deer at 100mph and now must sell the truck" things but was able to avoid it. Scared the crap out of my wife though. She was soooo happy I was driving and missed it.

Good going Tony. You're a true humanitarian.

If a vegetarian only eats vegetables......what does a humanitarian eat?
 
i love nature as much as the next guy but deer are starting to become a real hazard on the roads up here deer and 10s don't mix:mad:

thats the best pics I got at the moment, below the barn there is a large creek, that runs along the bottom side, about 70 acres, some of it is wooded, but no I dont live there at the moment, we got plans to build a house and my new shop there tho, right at the moment the good ol mother in law lives there LOLOL

gotta get her a man and get her gone!:aetsch:
