Dash Speakers

How does one go about getting the panel above the 3.5's on top the dash. And is that little panel the one i take off to get speakers out?

In my MSRT8 I had to pull the windshield pillars to get it out. The speakers were right underneath it.

It pops right up.just don't hit the windshield with anything.the glass is hard from the outside and made to break very easily from the inside.once the panel pops up from left to.right then pull it evenly straight back towards you as the forward most clips are at an angle.

Any things to look out for on the Door Panel removal. Already have the tool

Door panels on these trucks are a walk in the park. Very straight forward removal and reinstallation.

Jeff, from the '06 service manual -- removing door panels.

1. Remove the screw that secures the interior
door handle to the interior door handle actuator.
2. Remove the interior door handle from the interior
door handle actuator.
3. If equipped, remove the manual window crank
using a window crank removal tool.
4. Remove the two screws that secure the door
trim panel to the two screw inserts.
5. Remove the two screws that secure the door
trim panel to the bottom of the door.

CAUTION: The door trim panel is attached to the
door by molded plastic retaining clips that are
integral to the door trim panel. Do not pull the
door trim panel directly off of the door or damage
to the trim panel and/or the power switch assembly
will occur.

6. Lift the door trim panel straight upward to disconnect
the molded plastic retaining clips from the
door.
7. If equipped, disconnect the door wire harness from
the power door switch assembly and remove the
door trim panel.

Installation:

1. If equipped, connect the door wire harness to the
power door switch assembly.

CAUTION: The door trim panel is attached to the
door by molded plastic retaining clips that are
integral to the door trim panel. Do not force the
door trim panel onto the door or damage to the
trim panel and/or the power switch assembly will
occur.

2. Position the door trim panel and align the
molded plastic retaining clips to the door.
3. Push the door trim panel straight downward until all
of the retaining clips are fully engaged to the door.
4. Install the two screws that secure the door trim
panel to the two screw inserts.
5. Install the two screws that secure the door trim
panel to the bottom of the door.
6. if equipped, install the manual window crank.
7. Position the interior door handle onto the interior
door handle actuator.
8. Install the screw that secures the interior door
handle to the interior door handle actuator. Tighten
the screw securely.
