Does anyone know what it takes to get the DRLs to work. I know our Canadian brothers have to have them (I think). I've had two close calls where people have pulled right out in front of me and I think it's because my silver truck is getting lost in the background. I know, I should have bought the faster red one yada, yada, yada..... Anyhow, thinking that maybe the DRLs might help if it's possible or else I'll have to remember to turn the lights on all the time. Just wondering if it could be done. Thanks

Good question, I have no clue what the answer might be but I didn't want to be a turd licker. Good luck my man!

Just to let you know, stupid people don't discriminate. Mine is RED and people still pull out in front of me like I'm not there

You can turn on the fog lamps without the headlights - like in my sig photo -by turning the headlight switch half way to the right then pull the knob out (toward you). It may or may not help against idiot clueless drivers, but it looks good:D

I just leave my switch on. The lights turn off eventually.

Yeah, I knew about this and have done it on occasion (inclement weather, cloudy day). Didn't know if there were any techs here that would know if the DRLs are even an option on our trucks. I'll check with my Dodge service tech next time I'm down there. Don't know if I'll do it, just wondering if I can.
I thought all Canadian vehicles were to run DRLs but don't know if that applys to only passenger vehicles and not light trucks. If it applies to light trucks then we would know that it's possible. Probably just a relay in the fuse box type of thing :dontknow:

Daytime runnig lights run off seperate box that consist of relays and resistors. with d/t lights, only 5 volts are going to lights. d/t lights dont turn on untill car is in motion.then 12 volts when lights are on.

Just thought I would share....:dontknow:  :p You really need something to warn the Snowbirds there!! Maybe that's why the Sickkness is moving to AZ!HEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEH...HEH!

Yeah, its been a few years since I've been out there!! I can't wait though, I miss the Valley and I can't wait to see how much it's grown out there, when I went to high school we used to light BON fires out in the San Tans and at the Salt River, bet they have a hard time doing that nowadays!! Not that it was so long ago, maybe 10 years ago...
