I lived in Gilbert for 8 years, then moved to Surprise about 2.5 years ago.

Superior is on the east of the Valley on the way to Globe/Miami on the 60.

I live in Surprise, which is west of the valley.

Though I have been to Superior a few times... it is a strange little place.. Globe\Miami dont have much up on it either... :)

im sorry dude i know one of the towns is miami and i was sure that it was suprise not surprise my mistake

I just leave my switch on. The lights turn off eventually.

Me too! What's wrong with this? Just turn the light switch all the way on, pull it out and rip the knob off...if you wish. The lights go out when you park...only pull a little current then go off....what am I missing here:dontknow: :dontknow: :dontknow:

I dont think mine has daytime driving lights. Does it??

I think it does. Just turn 'em on...it does take a few minutes for them to go off when you remove the keys...but they do...try it, I think you'll like it.

I think that's a battery saver feature our trucks have. While working on the truck I've left the door open for awhile and the dome light will shut off. Same thing, battery saver. And the difference between leaving your switch on all the time and DRLs is: Switch on = burning all your light at full power all the time, DRLs = just the headlights at reduced power. Just enough light to catch someone's eyes (hopefully).

Superior is east of the valley, then Miami, then Globe -- if you think Superior is strange you should try riding your bike there -- although they do boast the smallest museum in the world -- now that is strange

25 years in Gilbert - last visit to the valley - last weekend. Beware unmarked Fords Crown Vics of all colors -- Highway Patrol speeder patrol

Just got back from the dealer. All they had to do was hook up the handheld computer to the truck and enable Daytime Running Lights. Just make sure the parking brake is off. Had the tech scratching his head for a moment when they didn't come on. I said "Is there a switch on the parking brake?". As soon as he released it, whala!! DRLs. Dealer charged $40.
