Let me set the stage: Venom Power and myself were at HRP friday night watching some good races. We decided to leave around 10:00 pm so on the way to I-10 VP ran into some ricers that were also coming from HRP. I guess the adrenaline was still present because they actually thought they could take VP.( another thread) Anyway so we get on I-10 and we punch it to about 100 we passed up a couple of Daytonas that were also heading out of HRP. The passing of the daytonas was not on purpose we were just trying to get home. After slowing down to a reasonable speed we had to get some lanes between us due to traffic. I was on the far right lane running on 6th gear, I started to change the cd in the truck so I never noticed the daytona speeding up behind me on the next lane. He then got next to me and before I could put the cd down and down shift he was gone ( drive by pretty much). So I immediately down shifted and began to catch up I passed him to the point that I could not see him any more, and VP was right next to me. At this point I was probably going about 140 or so. I'm not sure if this constitutes a kill because I don't know if he got off the pedal, but I will say this it sure as hell didn't sound like it.
