DC Performance SCT tune

I have a DC Performance SCT tune for my '05 qc. Only mods are a catback and drop in filter. The SCT has a 91 tune and a 93 tune. Super/premium gas in this area is a 92 octane.

Which tune should I run? I tried the 91 for a few miles and just put the 93 in to see. Any danger? :dontknow:

The higher the elevation the less octane needed to prevent detonation....91 octane at 5000' is about equal to 93 octane at 500'....this is why 91 is usually the highest octane found in western states.....nobody sells anything less than 93 premium around my area.

That said, I would check with DC to see if the tune is compatible with your elevation..

Just bought it from Dan. I'm at about 500 ft. in a valley. Often go to the mountains though.
