So the guys at the car wash tried to help me out a little bit more than usual today...they see me pop the hood and wipe down the polished parts of the SC....so they popped the hood and used an air compressor to blow water out....in doing so they blew water into the controller and the truck wouldn't run...after 2 hours of waiting for it to dry out...I called Dan at DC...he showed up at the car wash within 20 minutes....

He said it was water...after another hour we gave up and DC arranged a flatbed....for $20 bucks.....come on $20bucks for a flatbed....sweet.....:D

Back to DC...some more drying time and now she runs like a swiss watch...

All in all very impressed with DC coming to me on a Friday in less time than it takes to order a pizza...:D

Sidenote..with all the electronics for the Water/meth and Nitrous...going to move everything inside the cab...probably under the back seat....

Also thanks to Uniboy for looking up the code I threw and getting me the diagnosis....

Carwash!?

You let someone else wash that beast!? OMG! Nobody touches mine but me! I learnt the hard way when one of the clowns stepped on my rear tire to get in the bed and drug his sneaker across the bed rail... Scratch!! He was just trying to do a good job, but since then, only me, and only by hand!

Oh! And way to go DC! Sounds like the kind of company you want to keep around!!!

Carwash??? Isn't that truck abuse??

DC's reputation is one of the Left Coasts' main attractions:rock:

Now that's just UN-AMERICAN!!!;) Do you eat tofu also?? When I bought this truck the only thing that came to mind was that song by Dennis Leary, "I'm an Asshole"...And we wash our own trucks!!:D :D

I washed my truck this weekend, was reminded how damn big this thing was. I'm to afraid to let anyone touch this thing but me.
dude, he has shampoo softened hands.........:D ;) :D
DC's Pizza!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dan delivers in 30 minutes or less! very cool.

Get one of those Mr. Clean carwash deals. Costs like $30, will save you mucho time on cleaning the truck!

They really work! The water here in Fl is TERRIBLE for water spots, and this thing really does dry without spots. I wash it, rinse it, (As directed) and let it dry.... Beautiful! Cuts my truck cleaning time in half! (Which leaves me more time to get it dirty! :D )

i wish we had some guys like that out here on the east coast.....i've never heard a bad thing about them....way to go DC, and good for you Nowwhat!

Not surprised at all at the service, those guys at DC are great. Glad to hear no major damage happened Mike.

Now you gotta take care of your ride, wash it and learn to appreciate the beauty that is the SRT-10 :D

Glad to hear the truck is fine and running great.

Me either, at least not often, but when it does get washed someone else does it LOL.

I'm too lazy to wash it myself or even take it to get washed:dontknow: I just say my truck is an 06 with that new gray color:D

dan just got a small chunk of money from me yesterday. If I decide to have my truck tuned/looked over or "enhanced" he will be the guy I send it to. Supposedly I can add the bigger pulley and more boost given the upgraded internals. If dan only made house calls :)

You do, it's called Roe Racing, but they're in FL, I see you're in NJ.
Yup! Yup! Yup!  :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

I have deinoized water at the house so whoever washes my fleet does not have to dry them off.

I go through gallons of McGuires Gold Class mixed with AutoMagic Awsome Gloss. My old detailer taught me that before he moved out of state. The combination has carnuba and polymers that really protects and leaves a great shine.
