Well...just went to pick up the 10 for the re-circulation door repair. Now I find BOTH door panels with tears in them(from removing the dash). Also the steering wheel is loose and rattles like the front end is worn out. I know it's something not tight in the dash and steering wheel. DAMNIT why cant those guys just take care of your stuff???
Have to go in tomorrow and let them look at the panels.

Hold them to getting it right. Its BS that most places won't do anything right anymore.

That's exactly why I havnt taken my truck in under warranty to get this fixed. Hope it works out.

ask to speak to the general manager.

I have been extremely nice so far and will continue to be. I know what I want to make it right. Just my truck back the way it was when I took it there. The service manager already mentioned something about getting them repaired. Not going to happen! New door panels is the only thing that I will accept. They said that the looseness in the steering wheel is not from anything they did. Ha!
I guess these guys don't know who they are F'in with. I will give them a change to make it right. But they only get one chance.

Thanks for the numbers.

The fix is actually simple, you go to the GM tell him your issues, give him one week to come out with a satisfactory plan. When this doesnt happen show up with lemon shaped cardboard posters about 4 ft tall pull a demonstration permit ( about $35) and watch your shit get fixed real quick:D

God bless America and free enterprise

Under the current financial circumstances, it is the nature....(no) the DUTY of dealers to shave costs everywhere possible. Like firing the high dollar, journeyman technicians and hiring people who make Goober look like a NASA scientist.

Buona fortuna.

dont expect to get much out of dodge customer service. they wont do shit. i had a problem with a dealer over a challenger and they told me i was shit out of luck

COPIED AND PASTED from other thread.

Well...good and bad news. I spoke with the GM there. I have new door panels ordered. They are working on the steering as I type this. Thats all good news.
Now for the bad...The service manager was fired right after I showed the GM my door panels and steering wheel looseness. DAMN...right before Christmas...I feel bad, but I think it was just the final straw.
The GM came out and looked, and told them to take care of it and to do whatever they had to do to make me happy, even a rental car(I don't need one). He then went inside and fired the service manager and had a group meeting with all of the employees....

Don't feel guilty. Not your fault. Im sure this was just the last of many.
At least your getting your stuff fixed the way it should have been in the first place.

Glad to hear it's working out for you !

Hate it for the service mgr.,but it was his responsibility to see that it was resolved satisfactorily the first time. The dimwit who fubared the doors should receive a written warning, then next time he does something so irresponsible, give him the boot, too.
