Hey, had nothing to do thus far in the day so i decided to take off
my hood emblem. In a sense, big mistake. I heard there was just a 'dimple'
under the emblem. Not a enough room to put a couple dimes in! Anyways,
here are some shots.

This is about 3/4 of the way done. The epoxy crap doesn't come off as
easy as i wished it did.

End result.

Made a few mistakes along the way. My first mistake was chipping the paint
in two spots. I have touch up paint but i do have shakey hands and absolutely
suck at putting the crap on. Any ideas?

The second was using too much heat. This is a serious problem. What the hell
should i do about it? :dontknow:

I'm afraid your going to need to seek profesional help on this one. Can you blame someone else?? no problem.:D

I think I'd trade it in...J/K...take it to a body shop and have the fix the chipped paint if you don't feel comfortable doing it. The call Justin and order a new emblem, and in no time, you'll be better off that you were when you started.

If you haven't seen one of Justin's emblems, they look like this, they are flush with the hood rather than sitting on top of the hood like the factory one. I figure they're good for 2-3 MPH on top end due to reduced wind drag...LMAO!!!

I wondered what it looked like under there. I'm glad I didn't pull mine off yet. I checked out Justin's designs earlier today. I'm gonna order a Red and Chrome "Pete" for mine!

ANY TIPS FOR TOUCH UP.I HAVE A FEW SPOTS ON MY HOOD,
BUT SCARED TO TRY.I DONT WANT A BUNCH OF BLOB'S ON MY HOOD/FENDERS!!!
