well i got the truck dyno'd today. didnt get what i was looking for. i had em dyno one run on stock, 91,and 93.

ran the 91 first and the results were 397

ran the 93 second and got 403

and the last run i put it back to stock to see what would happen and got......

421

WTF.....

so whats the scoop. i will post the graph in a few days when i have access to a scanner.

that will also have the torque. everything was higher on stock setting.

20hp decrease aint worth $500 is it?:dontknow: :dontknow:

was too late in the day to call Roe. but feedback would be cool in the mean time.

hows the air/fuel? Too much timing might be an issue too; its in a 05/06 could be pulling lots of timing, giving you the numbers your seeing....hard to tell unless more info is provided.

:hmmmm: No I think I would have paid no more than $375.95 for a 20hp decrease. But then again :dontknow: I can be cheap sometimes.

Never did business with Roe, but most of the guys on this site swear buy his customer service. I'm sure he will make it right. Good luck.

that's concerning i also got my sct from roe. i have on 05 QC. i haven't got dynoed yet(and will be missing the best opportunity i will have tomorrow with torrie in town), but sotp feels way stronger than stock. i even flipped back to stock and truck feels like in slow motion as opposed to 93 tune. keep us posted with the dyno graphs and roe's response.

I'm not going to engage the high tune from Roe until I have my wide band A/F ratio gauge installed.

bingo:rock: smartest thing I have heard in months:rock:

Which means I didn't forget you bro. I'm leaving to Norway again tomorrow so I will place that order with you a few or more days before my return which will be June 27th. I figure the goods will arrive at the house around the time I get back here.

That is no matter bro, I am always here:D

but that was one of the best statements I have heard in months:rock:

it dont matter where you get it , it is a very wise investment;)

my truck lost power also with the sct from marty with one of his guys tuning it. we could not ever figure it out, needless to say i didnt pay for it:)

Just talk to Sean Roe...your tune probably has a bad file or other problem which does occassionaly happen...he can email another...........BTW...try emailing Sean anytime of the day or week...Many a time I have sent him an email at 9pm on a weekend expecting an answer the following Monday but instead he answers back within minutes..

I second that. Sean's customer sevice is second to none. I recently had and issue wiring an alarm with no resolution in sight. I called his cell phone on a early Saturday evening and he answered all my questions without regard to the day and time. That kind of support is priceless.

If your AFR is lean as they are from the factory, you will make more power peak on a dyno, but not below the curve. Post up the stock curve with AFR and the 93 Curve for us to check out. Peak power won't win a race.

do yourself a favor and forget the dyno numbers.

PLug in the SCT tune and go run 3 1/4 mile times...then go back to stock and run 3 1/4 mile times...which ever has faster numbers has more power.
