The deer are using my landscaping as a salad bar....no way the girl goes for me shooting Bambi so that is out...

Who has the right answer to repel these over grown rodents....the internet has 1000 things to buy, but figured someone here would have a proven answer...

We have several upscale areas with substantial deer populations in my area, and plenty of upscale landscaping to dine on. The thing my clients say has worked the best is the motion activated impact-type sprinkler. Short of a 6' fence &/or dogs, this seems to be the weapon of choice.

Mike, moth balls work ....the scent will send them looking elsewhere for food.

They have different types to repel different animals. The stuff I purchased was supposed to use the urine-scent from a Fox - the groundhog's natural enemy - to repel the groundhogs.

My old mountain man brother Larry Corbett once had a situation where a very large dog would come over and shit in his yard with great frequency....

He got up at about 3am one morning...Went over and took a shit right at the entrance to the offender's dog house....

It never happened again....
