DEPO black LED tail lights on Ebay / Will they fit my '06?

I really like the looks of the black DEPO LED tail lights on eBay, however, most of the auctions describe them as only working for 02-05 in the description. What is strange is that many sellers have them listed in the title as working with 02-06, but the description shows only 02-05. Does anyone have an 06 with these installed? Is there any difference at all between the tail lights on the 05s and 06s?

Also, a few sellers have the LED third brake light but they say "professional installation recommended". Is it that difficult or are they just covering their a*#? Does anyone have one of these on their 06 SRT10?

Come to think of it, I cant recall what the 06 taillights look like either. I want to say they are the same. Not sure though.

they are the exact same. the nose and dash are the only features that changed really. the bed and such is the same

All the same from 02-06 changed for 07' to the Durango style where the upper and lower light kinda bulges out!!

they are exactly the same.... i had the depot tail lights in my 06 qc now a switch them to my 06 rc they fit perfectly in both of them...

Looking at this one, all they have is a Power and Ground wire. So I guess by professional is the fact that you have to hook up two wires to the existing wires, all you need is a "light tester" and have someone step on the brake pedal to see which is the "Hot/Power" wire.

It might need a resistor.... but i really doubt it. I know you need them if you wire in LED bulbs as turning signals, otherwise the vehicle thinks the lights are out.

First time, long time...

I put the depos in and the bottom 1/2 of the leds don't light up. The top 1/2 of the leds do and the turn and backup work. Got the Bully smoked 3rd brake light also. Like it very much. Comes with plug so no splicing.

My DEPO black tail lights came today and I just installed them. VERY EASY and they look great. All of the bulbs work as well so no problems. This is a MUST HAVE mod for any BLACK SRT-10. I can hardly wait until the rest of this friggin' snow/ice melts and the salt is washed off the streets around here. Maybe I can actually DRIVE my truck sometime next week! :burnout:

All good..I have this brake light, simple plug and play..Connector plugs directly into the socket of the third brake light. No light out error as well....Very nice third by the way, really compliments the Depo LED tails.

Check your plug pins or stabs, IZ and I ran into the same thing with mine. The connectors are good but not great, easy for you to get one stab off line and shove it out the back of the connector.

I really do like the Depo tails. However, I wish they made a "simpler" rear taillight with just a blacked out housing. Kinda like the Matrix Blacked Out front housings of my headlamps.
