1st off im to lazzy to do it myself :)... so im getting a mobile guy to do it .ok now the story on the truck... my truck is a disaster there has been bugs on it for 3 weeks rubber from the track and i havent waxed it in about 3 months . and the rims are so black from dust they look like they have been powder coated...

so waht do u all recomend

do i just need a simple wash and wax?? or do i need the truck done with claybar? also this claybar do i do the hole truck with it or just the front end where the bugs are etc..???

anyway let me konw im gonna call up some of these car cleaners here shortly..

thankx

I can't help with the claybar, but I had let my wheels get pretty nasty and I used a powerwasher to get the majority of crap off then sprayed with wheel cleaner and did some good old fashioned scrubbing..Be prepared for your hands (or whoever you hire) to get pretty cut up. I know some guys jack up the truck and remove the wheels so they can really get at them.

Hell, my truck is like that more often than not, with the exception of the bugs as we don't really have any bugs to speak of in Cali. My rims have looked just like you describe and they get it clean and shiny at the regular old hand wash car wash here. Costs me $50 (used to be $40) for a wash and wax.

You take the wheels off of the truck and clean them, easier to get too. Wash the truck in Dawn soap, then claybar the whole vehicle and wax. Keep a California duster handy in between washings.

Call Detail Unlimited, ask for Dennis kelley, 561-718-3025......Tell him Blake sent u and u want a Pinnacle full detail....200 bucks for the engine and all.
