A friend of mine bought one of these for his hemi and says that it is the cats ass! Much more horsepower just by changing the coding. Does anyone know if it works for 8.3 liter engines?:argh::argh:

A few years back there wasn't one that would work with the 10's.... I have no idea about now .... SCT is what most of us use .

Superchips tuner. SCT. We have a couple of vendors that sell them and torrie from unleashed performance is one of the best tuners.
They don't work on our trucks like the hemi. The tuners on the viper just store the tunes and you select the one to load. No user selectable parameters.

Since I dont have a buttload of money, at the moment, I want to go with the cheapest mods first. This seems like a good place to start. I will pick up the SCT tuner.

SCT i beleive is in the 3 to 4 hundred range with tunes ...
DCX Tuning | Unleashed Tuning | Srt, Xcal, Tuning, Unleashed Email Torrie .... He replies really fast ...
I agree with everything ur sayin! The SCT from Torrie will come thru with 3 tunes for about $360.
