Did my IKe custom exhaust

Holly crap it sounds like a supercar now! Thats what all my friends say. At idle it's got a mean chop, a musclecar sound. If you dry rev it, well HOLLY CRAP!

I cut the muffler out and had a x pipe welded in it's place. I wanted a x-pipe not so much for performance but to tie the left and right bank together. It pops if you rack the pipes like an old glasspack, I now wish i hadn't removed the resonator. o well, i got what i was looking for and good sounding pickup, on the cheap!

it's also so loud when you dry rev it, the clip would distort, it's something only the human ear and all those tiny hairs could really appreciate.

I'm looking for that exotic car sound. I think the B&B's come closest. I sure would like to hear your setup to see if it's something to consider.

well y'all I'm getting a little disappointed in the sound right now. Kind of Riccy. No drone at all, i think i want it a little more flowmasterish, I'm gonna put 1 chambered flowmaster knockoffs on it in a month or two, but for now it's better than stock.

I wish this thing sounded like my station wagon.

I did the real flowmaster 40's on my rock crawler..there very loud but very deep sounding. Should sound nice!

I wonder what this would be like. It's a muffler with a built in cross pipe. I don't know if would give me the exotic car sound I'd like but it's a neat concept.

Since I'm also in Houston perhaps we could meet up one day so I can hear it. I want to do the same since I am sick of the UPS truck sound when driving normal, but I want to hear an example before deciding on the route to take. Looks like you saved some dough doing it your way.
