Ok yall I removed the over load and the truck sits level.......... EMT you were right the pic only looked like it was lower in the rear. It's pert near perfect.

Now anyone else notice that the passenger side it higher than the drivers?

My drivers side is 5 1/2" tire to lip. The passenger side is 6"

This dropped my truck 3/4" a inch and the ride is exactly the same.

****CALTRACS Question.

THE U-BOLT ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO RIDE ON THE BRACKET I'VE GOT 1/4" OF SPACE BETWEEN THE UBOLT AND THE BRACKET. I'LL POST PICS...........LATER

????? removed the overload...is that a spring...Can you enlighten me on this please....QC or RC?

I don't think mine is lower on one side or another. Glad it worked out like you wanted.

I will. The overload spring is mainly for hauling stuff. I removed mine when I added Stinker's rear lowering shackles. It is the short, fat bottom leaf spring.

   Thanks --learn something new everyday... I already have stinkers lowering shackles....so removing this spring will lower it more and level each side of the truck...any adverse affects to doing this?

Your going to find that the rear springs will sag giving you more of a drop in the rear after a while. Did this on both of my trucks prior to doing the flip kits.

hey ike i have seen other ram trucks with the same 1/2 diff on drivers side ,,,some claim cause its the gas tank and battery and driver on one side of truck ,,my sons 06 hemi is the same way  plus i read here somewere that ,,,just cant remember were it was ,,i think Fstjack had a post about it

I haven't had any adverse effects. OSO is right. It eventually dropped some more on its own.

BigIke, I bet if Eddie hadn't of painted those stripes on you'd take them off too!:D But dang I bet it's fun to take someone's creation and try to make it your own. Any luck on finding some black wheels?

LOL! :congrats:

Jay, I got dibs on that Roe whenever you decide to yank it off. . . ;)

Eddies gonna have used parts spread all over the country!!

I thought when you install Cal Tracs, you removed the lower thick leaf springs at that time, I did.

yup so did i ,,at least the slaper bar ,,,maybe they took one more out ,,,that thing should bounce real good

I've only removed..............all badging, side exhaust, exterior gauges, hood pins, all the stickers, vent shades, polyurethane anti-rattle caltracs pads, the powered in the viper powered scoop sticker, the hood scoop grill and tabs, the passenger floor neon moved under the hood........

Roe stays, less is more with me, I want this thing to look like the super tank so black wheels, head lights, color matched handles, stripes also stay :)

I started out it had 8" clearance now its got 5 3/4".

Also glad i removed the external oil psi gauge the tube was busted and when I touched it to take it out it snapped in half!!!!!!!!

Hopefully I'll get to go to baytown, Y'all will be impressed!

y'all have to remove it on the RC the QC is different.

Try hell its a different truck..................... ;)

There is a member talking to me but its not looking too good but who knows:dontknow:

RC have slapper bars where the QC has a load/helper spring. From what I understand they are two different things.

I gonna send you $5.00 cash for taking off those tacky ass hood pins (Stinker talked him into that)
