i'm going to start looking for a HD digital camcorder soon and wanted opinions, 1080p, 720p bla bla bla. I just want a clear picture and not have to spend 600 bucks. so what do yall suggest

I just bought a JVC, but it was in the $750.00 range, so not something you would want.

However, the reason I bought this one was that last Christmas I bought a Sony camcorder with a hard drive. Tried to use it in the Cobra and the noise and vibration would shut it down every time. So my one recommendation is avoid one with a hard drive.

Yep, just the loud sound will shut them down.:(

The thing I like about the new JVC is that it will record at 600 Frames Per Second. I can make my own ESPN/NHRA super slowmo videos.:D
