Okay, been up for a couple hours now working on dinner.

Just thought I would start a thread and share the progress with you.:D

 First off you got to have a fire.

Sure glad you humans discovered fire.:D :)

Season it up with some dry rub. Where did that picture go?

Oh well. Next step

Okay, into the smoker.

Nope, not an OKLAHOMA. It's just a cheap CharBroil smoker. Our BBQ season here is to short to invest a lot of money in a good smoker. I'll use this one until it burns out and buy another.

I have done a lot of research on smokers and if I was going to invest $1000 to $2500 in one, this is the place I would go to.

I have no problem giving out recipes, but BBQ (smoking) is more than just a recipe. I could give you the recipes of the ingredients I use, and you could end up with a piece of leather.

Have you done any smoking in the past? Let me know and I will go from there.

No:eek: , but I am interested in doing it. My dad has a smoker and I've always been fascinated by it. The only time I cook is when it has to do with a grill or when boiling seafood.

Maybe you could help us all out and start a thread so we can use it for GTG's!:dontknow: :D

Here's a book, Smoke and Spice, that is one of the better ones out there in my opinion.

This really should start a good debate, as BBQ is one of those topics like politics or religion. Everyone that is really into it has their own favorites that they believe is the best there is.

Damn, almost forgot. Need to post the picture of the next thing to go in.
