disconnecting under the hood light

How do you get to the bulb in the under the hood light? I'd like to disable it for car shows (gotta show the Paxton and bling).

There's a plug right next to the hinge on the left/side as your looking under the hood, clip-plug.

Your hand is probably too big to fit thru the insulation i imagine to acess the connector...

He's right. It's completely accessible. Follow the wiring harness as it leaves the hood. Can't miss it. Just pull the red retainer on the connector up, then unplug.

Mine never comes on and it never did. I got her with only 18 miles on the odometer so it's not like it was broken. Must have been disabled somehow or a blown fuse? I dunno.:dontknow:

I had to slide the red thing back then squeeze in on the plug for it to dissconnect.

I mounted a cheap toggle switch so I can turn it on or off.

I disconnected it because it never went off!

Figured it could be handled at the next warantee visit.
