Do our Radios have any inputs available?

is there anywhere on these decks maybe in the back for a LINE IN ?? i just picke up sat radio and want to use a direct connect vs the fm transmitter.. any ideas??

if i'm not mistaken, these radio's have a 22 pin conection & a 10 pin connection on the back of them..... the 10 pin comes from your amp/sub & can be used for mp3 player, sirrus & xm sattelite inputs........ don't know if you can get a patch cord to use you stock amp with an mp3 player or if you'll have to sacrifice one for the other.........

JL audio has a piece that u can use any stock radio to power amps, I think u can put alternate sources in that. Try www.JLaudio.com

I'm trying to hook up my Ipod to the stock system (well, I want to) and don't want to use the FM modulator thingy. Somewhere I heard that there is a port on the back for a CD changer that they make an adapter for to run your Ipod. I wonder if it is there if you have the 6 CD changer?:dontknow:

Just spoke with the car audio dealer and they have a component that we can plug into our decks for a mear cheep prics of 285.00 installed or 220 not installed.. i think ill deal with the fm modulator for now...

Ouch!! I guess I will too. The adapter I saw was on ebay for about 110 or so. But still damn expensive

Peripheral Electronics makes two items you can use, although I haven't been able to find either yet. Supposedly they are shipping this month.

They have one which gives you two auxiliary inputs on most DCX radios. It's the CHYX item on this page:

They have another which gives you one iPod input (including two-way data exchange with your head unit for display of track/artist/etc) and one aux input (just RCAs for anything). It's the CHYP unit here:

Can't tell you about pricing since I've yet to see one in stock anywhere...
