The 2007 Dodge Caliber has been a smash hit for many Chrysler dealers, with sales higher than many had expected, reports the Detroit News. “While it may be too early to call it a blockbuster like the Chrysler 300, the Caliber is shaping up as a solid success at a time when the Chrysler Group is at risk of losing momentum,â€￾ the newspaper’s Josee Valcourt wrote. “Everybody is selling them as quickly as they can get them,â€￾ said Andy Palmen, chairman of the Dodge National Dealer Council and general manager at Wisconsin-based Palmen Motors Dodge Jeep. “We know that the sales number will increase. I don't blame them....My wife was going to get one instead of the Mazda she just got. Its fairly big inside (almost* a small SUV), and it gets 30+mpg. Its a good A to B car IMO

I was wanting one, they are very nice, but I just couldn't get over the FWD part, cuz I want to play with it too. So I got the ole 300ZX. I think someday I'll get a AWD R/T version and do some performance upgrades, when I can afford it anyway

Honestly, I was interested in the upcoming 300hp SRT version, but once I actually saw one, I really don't think so. To SUV-like for me.

I'd be interested in the SRT if it weren't for the FWD.. I'm DONE with fwd..
