Whatever happened to those Scrocher tires by BFG? The ones with the custom rubber color banding. They came out in like 2000 or 01 but they were never as big as I thought they should be. Even if you guys think they are ghettofabulous, there's a huge market for all the goochie shit out there as we all know.

They only came in 18" at the time but if they were popular the would have gone larger.
Anyone have the scoop on this? I wish they still made them, I'd get a set even if they were just for show.

i know that they or something like them are real big in the drifting sence . the new thing is to do burn outs in color its cool and all but i think black tires look the best, but color burn outs are cool

I found them, solid black tires with certain chemicals in them that make colored smoke, kumoho patented the trick and only made 100 as a marketing thing, and they're 1 grand each, and I doubt seriously they'd be in our size.

yeah i was thinkin the same thing. maybe the biggest would be in the 18s but for a grand a piece i would not do it

I seem to remember reading that Ca was going to outlaw those BFGs because they were going to come in blue and red, and the Bloods and Crips were going to start going into each others territories and leaving colored burnout marks and start a big gang war. Probably just stupid media hype, don't know.

The colored bike tires are from Tomahawk, and are retreads. Maybe it's just me, but retreads on a ~170mph capable motorcycle just seems like a bad idea.

I own that S-10 in that one pic Azmal posted, bought it in 2002, finally had to change the tires this year, 48000 miles, the tread was still good but the belts went, it was age that killed them.
