Dont deserve my truck?

Exhausted, sleepy, and stuffed from a huge mexican lunch, i blasted some Breaking Benjamin to stay awake. Windows down at a light i waited and waited, watching 22 year olds jog feet beside my truck. Distracted the light turned green and i was backing up traffic. Ears ringing, not the slightest sound heard from the exhaust i let out and the clutch started to grab, my rpms dropped violently shaking and before my right foot could compensate, the truck shook and settled silently in third gear. Before i could grasp the fact i just stalled my truck for the first time and regain my composure, i freaked and i did it, i know the jokes may come but let them if they will. I reached for the key turned it hard and nothing happend! WTF! Every vehicle i get into im pushing vinyl on the dash to get it to start, and kicking at clutches that arent there. And the one time all eyes are on me i forget to push my magic button. I cant dust my shoulders off and move on, someone please tell me has this every happend to you!?:dontknow:

Can't say that it has . . . I find myself looking for the Big Red Button in my Jeep and Corteney's car . . .

Yup.I got the new clutch put in.......Takin it easy..... and was next to Chatt State (Com. College) with the girls softball team out there and ooops killed it. Went to turn the key and nothing. knowing that my face was as red as the button I was suppose to push. I slid down in the seat and I pushed the button and slowly crept up the street. I feel your pain!!!

Just sell the truck, and denounce your membership here...there's no recovery from such a thing...

(In the future, I wouldn't tell such things, some things are just best kept to one's self...LOL!!!)

i have done it too. first week of owning the truck tried to start it too adn i was like wtf... then after driving it for a week i caught myself looking for the clutch in the automatic work truck lol. just nothing like these beasts in the RBC

Great story. I can't say that I have shared your experience but I feel your pain. Have a beer (or 6) tonight and remember that there are only a few types of vehicles out there that have a push button start - and you are lucky enough to own one. :elefant:
