Don't Try This on your Truck!

Used to love working on those cars! Very simple!

Although I never did that! :D

Pretty damn ingenious if you ask me. Course it only takes about 3 minutes longer to do it the right way on an old 50s-60s beetle. That's not even a 1600cc.:dontknow: Helps with no water pump, hoses, thermostat housing, radiator, etc.

Can you use a Philips head too??? :dontknow: ;) :D
Nope, only needed 3 tools in my first car ( Beetle). I had a Monkey Wrench
( crescent wrench), a standard blade screwdriver, and a feeler guage for points and plugs. 4 plugs and 2 sets of points in a Mallory dual point disty.:D

Dont forget the feeler guage for adjusting the valves, every 3000 miles.

Um, generator belt maybe?? :D :D

I know, it's a generic term like "coke" but I'm a trained observer what can I say?

Those were the simpler, kinder days. Now you have to dismantle half the vehicle just to change the plugs.

Wait until you have to change the plug wires on your SRT 10!

Gosh, I've heard others talk about that joy as well, can't wait:D Any other major joys I have to look forward to??:p

I changed the coils and wires on my 97 F150 5.7L - nearly just got in the bathtub and slit my wrists before I got it done.
