I am thinking about taking the 06 emblems off, and putting the 05 srt-10 emblem back on the doors. I know the best way to remove them is heat and fishing line, but what do you guys think is the best way to line those lettes up so they are spaced right and level? Since the all S R T - 1 0 letters are all seperate I want it to flow right, and not be jumbled!! heres my doors now...

I think the badging comes spaced correctly from the company that makes them.

Getting it level is a matter of measuring twice and cutting once. :) Do a few dozen test fits using masking tape, and always take a few steps back to check if you like it or not.

Use a cardboard jig to get the distance spacing correct regarding drivers and pass. sides.

i used a small magnetic level...just place the lettering up against the bottom of the level!

ya, thats a good idea. I have the 05 lettering, but as you know its all individual. It will have to be one of those things where I take my time doing it. What type of adhesive do you guys think would work the best? Maybe a 3m?

Yeah. 3M is the industry standard. Loctite makes some kickass adhesives as well.

For spacing, use some 2"-3" wide masking tape and put the letters face down onto the tape. You can space them as desired many times over, then when it's time to apply to the truck, just start at one end and 'wipe' them on. When they're in place, simply pull off the masking tape.

You can also use the edge of the masking tape as a top (or bottom) straight edge.

ya, thats a good idea. Kinda make a template. Smart guy u are!! Ill have to tackle this one when its nice outside. Thanks bro, ill post pics when shes finished

Maybe find another '04/'05 owner and take some quick measurements before you tackle the re-install too?
