door handles

don't play me... you saw the pics...

It doesn't mean they were installed properly..... :D

What options do us QC guys have for the rear doors? Same handles as the front? Any difference for '06?

Grand Cherokee rear door handles also fit the rear doors. Most colors have been discontinued so your best bet is getting a set from a salvage yard and having your paint guy respray them.

Very sound advice here! :D

Has anybody done a "how-to" on replacing the door handles?

I don't believe I have seen a how to but it is a very straight forward install. The driver side door handle is a little more challenging because of the extra rods with the lock cylinder but overall it is very easy. Took me around 45 minutes to do both handles. Our door panels could qualify as the world's easiest door panels to remove.

You Tube

1AAuto Parts has a how-to , it appears simple . I would cut and paste it but, I also am simple.

Thanks, MOD(S)QUAD! You mean these? :)

This eBay seller has all four door handles I need, but they seem awfully inexpensive at only $14.99 each... too good to be true or a great value?

Those are aftermarket replacements and the textured ones. Need to find the ones in body color.

Here is an example of what you need to look for. You might have to buy them as singles or pairs if you can find some listed as such.

Passenger Door, Tailgate, and Lic. Plate housings are easy as Hell. Need 3 hands for the drivers door has a extra rod and stuff. But a bit of patience and a cuss or two and it goes in.
