Hey Dragon, Welcome. Some of us on the forum have considered using Mopar performance parts thinking it would not void the warrenty, But i understand that is not true. If you install the performance PCM for instance, Your motor is no longer covered. But your tranny, And diff. are still covered, Because the PCM did not effect those items. Unless the tranny is an auto. Shift points and all. Also The PCM is not for use in Calif. Smog i assume? So if your going to screw up your warrenty, You might as well go with something you can really get some performance with. Can you give me some feedback on this? Thanks for your help.

Jr you are correct about the warranty.

the true miths of factory warranty. the manufactures are starting to lighten up to the fact that people want to modify there vehicles. dodge started with the srt4 neon to test the market and it made a huge impact. all the aftermarket performance parts that mopar was missing the boat in sales. any way to answer you question. its not as bad as you or anyone thinks. if you do add any modification it will void that warranty. example if you put a aftermarket or set of headers on your vehicle that item has just lost warranty. so if your rear axle go out, you are still covered by your warranty. if your check engine light comes on because of your headers burned your o2 sensor wiring that is not covered but it is poor installation. in more cases that i have seen its more installer error then part malfunction.

really i could go on and on. you should just tell me what way you are going to go and i can tell you how go get it done to help cover you.

how many people do you know that modify there vehicles?
everyone out there. so its not as bad as you think. but i will tell you do your research and get the product you want you will be happier knowing you got what you wanted and dont worry about the warranty.

i have not yet looked into a supercharger but i would say that all the piping and brackets that you would have to install on your truck might be in the way. remember that to a tech time is money. if the factory only pays the tech 1.0 hour to fix the ac problem and it takes him 2.0 hours to dismount all the brackets and pips + the 1.0 hour the factory says it will take to fix this problem the total of the job is 3.0 hours the tech is losing money for that job. if your ac problem happens to be under the hood the way around that would be offer to pay for to dismount and remount these items to get to your ac. i do know that some dealerships will not touch this, because they feel they are liable if anything may go wrong with the reinstall of your supercharger kit. think about it this way if you have a pool and under the concrete slab that you laid down a pipe leaks, to fix this problem you need to destroy the concrete. the pool company is not liable for fixing the concrete as it was not part of there install of the pool. but you still need to get the concrete fixed. how pays for that.
its the same here. its in the way it has to be moved to get to the problem it takes time = it cost money.
